Whose Got the FEVER??

Have you ever been walking down the road of parenting and realized you completely forgot something?  Maybe it is just us.  I don't know.  But, this exact feeling came over us when we were invited by some dear friends to a basketball game and my oldest daughter asked if that was the one that you use a baseball bat with!  Ummm...  NO!

Crap!  We entirely missed the chapter on sports!  Having four little princesses is enough to send you into pink coma, but apparently also enough to make you forget about anything not lacy and fancy.

My husband and I love basketball.  he is from Bloomington, IN for goodness sake.  Home of the IU Hooooooosierrrrrrrrs!  But, we had skipped this critical step.  I forgive myself in that we did have four children in four and a half years.  That has to come with its own excuse list. Right?

So, I took the girls to their first basketball game and talked it up.  It was a very exciting day.  The Indianapolis fever were playing the New York team and there were, what seemed like, a billion kids there!  Friends, crazy loudness and snacks.  What else could a kid ask for on a Tuesday morning?

Good Friends!!!!!!

Sister love!

Family Time!

First experience with Cotton Candy!!

having fun and being crazy!

Oh yeah...  and Basketball!

It was a great experience and the girls can't wait to back back again.  If not for the basketball, friends, food and fun for the mere reason that every minute or so they got to scream as loud as they possibly could and they still couldn't hear themselves.  Gotta love it!
